a lot alike in that sense – both try to show
their customers more efficient, easier means to
complete a job, saving their respective customers
time and money.
For his part, Will Hubers always calls DSG to
bring his custom control panels to life. “I tell them
what I need – how many starters, what size cabinet,
etc. – and the panel shop makes it happen,” says
Hubers.
“DSG is a great group of guys to work with,” says
Hubers. “They are very knowledgeable, especially
when it comes to controls, and they build panels
that last. When I need supplies for a job, I don’t
even have to think about it. I just pick up the
phone and call Kelly at DSG.”
The coming times look promising for
the partnership of Hubers Electric and DSG.
Currently, the two companies are working on an
additional free-stall barn for Helmer Dairy. There
is no doubt that whatever job comes along, when
DSG and Hubers Electric work together, it will be
a success.

Kelly Hooker
Outside Sales – Sioux Falls
Kelly Hooker joined DSG in September of
1995. DSG had just opened up in Sioux Falls,
South Dakota, and Kelly immediately recognized
an exciting opportunity. It didn’t take long for
Hooker to realize that DSG was a perfect fit for
him. “I’ve always enjoyed the people I work with,
especially my customers,” Hooker says. “Plus, I
love how the different groups that make up DSG
oftentimes go hand in hand, like automation and
electrical. It’s great because it allows me to meet
new people in different industries.”
Before joining DSG, Hooker worked for
a wholesale business for more than 26 years,
gaining valuable sales and networking experience.
“I’ve worked with a lot of contractors,” Hooker
says, “and I always try to make it a point to share
anything I can say, do or offer to help them
improve their business.”
Hooker wasn’t always in outside sales at DSG.
He used to work the city desk, but his friendly and
upbeat nature made him a perfect fit for many
accounts. “People like to go through a salesman
who is honest and who they know is going to call
them back,” smiles Hooker, “and I like to think
that’s exactly who I am.”
