FILTRATION
Brendan Ciesynski is the division supervisor
who heads up Grotberg Electric’s Gwinner
office. An electrician, he first dealt with DSG
when purchasing electrical supplies. When it
came time to buy filters, DSG seemed like the
perfect choice. “We get 100 percent of our filters
from DSG,” Ciesynski says. “They came in and
looked over what we do. They did their
homework and created a filter solution that was
just what we needed. They do a good job of
getting us the right filters at the right price.”
In addition, DSG gives Triton Mechanical the
flexibility it needs to keep pace with its biggest
client. “DSG warehouses our filters, which is
tremendously convenient for us,” adds Ciesynski,
“and if we have a busy week and need two or
three trucks, they make it happen.”
Kelly Neustel is in charge of making sure
that all of Triton Mechanical’s operations run
smoothly. He appreciates DSG’s commitment
to innovation. “Bobcat expects us to be on
the cutting edge of technology,” Neustel
says, “and DSG helps to make that happen.”
In fact, DSG is currently helping Triton
Mechanical transition from using traditional
pleated air filters to ring panel filters that are
lighter, more compact and easier to move (yet
achieve the same level of performance).
According to Neustel, the move will save on
storage costs and increase manpower efficiency.
The future of clean air in Gwinner seems
assured with the presence of Grotberg Electric
and Triton Mechanical. In the fall of 2007, the
company moved its staff into Gwinner’s retired
fire hall, and renovations on the new space will
be completed by the summer of 2008. Located
directly beneath one of the city’s two water
towers, it’s a location that offers more room for
storage, staff and growth.
That’s important, because Grotberg Electric
would like to take Triton Mechanical to the next
40 www.dakotasupplygroup.com
level. They already do work for several smaller
manufacturers in south central North Dakota,
and residential HVAC is not out of the question.
“We’d like to put our HVAC know-how to work in
as many ways as we can,” Ciesynski smiles.
Success, it would seem, is all about working
hard to make yourself valuable to your
customers. It’s been the key to the success
of Grotberg Electric, and DSG has been proud
to play its part.
“Bobcat expects us to be on the cutting edge of
technology, and DSG helps to make that happen.
